Supervision for Counsellors

Supervision is an essential component of being a competent and registered counsellor. It provides a safe & confidential space for you to discuss and explore:

* how  you are working with your clients

* how you may be reacting to your clients (identify any triggers)

* how you are caring for (ie respecting) yourself

* any ethical or legal considerations of your counselling work

About these sessions:

Each session will consist of:

  • A 2h interactive discussion/exploration of relevant client-related issues

  • For all counsellors- ACA and PACFA

  • Opportunity to discuss your counselling practice - what works, what needs work

  • Each counsellor will be allocated 30 mins so that everyone has an opportunity to discuss/share/present

  • You can book in for 1, 2 or all 3 sessions

For ACA& PACFA members, this program is worth 2h of supervision.
